  Aroma therapy tips

Tip for hay fever:
1 drop bergamot,
1 drop eucalyptus,
1 teaspoon honey,
Blend into 1 cup of water and drink 3 times a day.

Tip for urticaria: (itching skin)
30 drops vit. E,
30 cc sesame oil,
6 drops bergamot,
6 drops eucalyptus,  apply topically.

Tip for earaches:
1 drop Lavender
1 drop Marjoram
1 drop Thyme
1 drop Chamomile

Mix the essential oils and place 1-2 drops of te mixture on a cotton ball which you place then into the ear. (Important! Do not put the essential oils directly into the ear).
Leave over night and do the same again during the day.
The same mixture of essentil oils can be mixed with a teaspoon of base/ plant oil and then massaged gently around the painful ear.
Before doing so it is advisable to check for an allergic reaction:
Take a drop of the mixture and rub it gently behind the ear or on the inside of the wrist and then check for redness or welts. If nothing appears after 12 hours it is safe to use the mixture.
“Hopi candles” are also beneficient and soothing, with best results after using the oils for massage and ear drops. Done by a professional therapist only!

Agitation:
An aggressive person in an uproar of feelings can be helped, by putting a towel around his shoulders with a few drops of bergamot oil on it.

After chemotherapy
combine cajeput oil with lavender, chamomile and citrus oils. Mix with jojoba, wheat germ, and almond oil and apply topically on painful or burnt areas

Insomnia (sleeping problems)
1 drop Chamomile
1 drop Lavender
1 drop Neroli
1 drop Frankincense

Eye infection
Never put essential oils into your eyes!!!!
Use floral water of Rose and use as eye wash
If essential oils have accidently been in contact with your eyes, wipe them with a cotton wool ball dipped in plant oil, i.e. olive oil, sunflower oil, almond oil, etc.

Spice burns on your tongue:
If you have eaten something extremely spicy and your oral cavity is on fire, take a sip of olive or other plant oil and swish around in your mouth. The burning sensation will be gone after a second.
You can also try sugar. The sugar will absorb the spicy essential oil that causes the burning sensation.

Sunburns:
Add a few drops of lavender to yoghurt and gently rub on or just cover the burns. Do this a few times until the pain and redness subsides
Very pure organic lavender can also be put directly on the sunburn. Before that make sure you are not allergic to the oil
Take a drop of the oil and rub it gently behind the ear or on the inside of the wrist and then check for redness or welts. If nothing appears after 12 hours it is safe to use the oil.

Headaches:
1 drop Peppermint
1 drop Niaouli
1 drop Majoram
1 drop Camphor

Add the mixture to 1 teaspoon plant oil and rub into temples on both sides after checking for allergic reaction (see above).
You can also put the mixture into a burner with some water and diffuse it into the room
This mixture of essential oils is also beneficent for clogged sinuses and common colds
