Kirkas Kiss was invited by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in  "Israel Week" organized by the Israeli Embassy in Guatemala ( last week of  October 2010) . The Israel week , called "COOLTOUR ISRAEL" included the Chef Victor Gluger   (who gave Israeli cuisine classes) & author Yaron Avidan, also invited by the MFA. Kirkas Kiss did the Grand Opening & Cloture of the Events & Yael & Alain Koginsky gave Kirkas Kiss shows & workshops to local schools from impoverished areas (invited by the embassy since their schools are called "Israel"), the American School in Guatemala City &   shows in public hospitals & a hostel for long term treated kids & their families ("Casa Ronald Macdonald"– since the McDonald Foundation built & operates these homes) as well as to the Israeli community & more.
Alain gave workshops in hospital clowning to the general public & to local therapeutic clowns then visited & worked as a hospital clown in 4 different public hospitals & an orphanage.
Guatemala proved to be a very interesting & intense experience. The local population is exuberating in its pro Israel love & attitude due to its large Adventist population & attended en mass all activities organized by the embassy including Hebrew classes, Israel cuisine classes, films, Talks, Puppet shows & clowning workshops etc.
