Some summers are easily forgotten and some are indelibly
inscribed in our memory.
If the summer of 2006 recalls Lebanon and horror, the summer
of 2007 will be synonomous with Nahama and Nadav's pilot project
that went by the name of "Artist Proof."
Working tirelessly and endlessly, for months on end, they managed
to organize funding, space and the necessary conditions to invite
l0 artists from all over the world to our little village Ein Hod where,
for more than one week, an atmosphere of creativity and an exchange
of ideas and techniques was created.
Being a skeptic at the beginning but a total convert at the end, I
can honestly say that these l0 days was indeed an exhilerating
experience as an artist.
So thank you, Nahama and Nadav and to all those who participated
and to all those in Ein Hod who helped make this a memorable
experience.
