This outstanding bracelet , was designed and made by the artist Lea Ben-Arye,
Embedded in the design are semi precious stones - Amethyst, Garnet and Gold filled.
The technique involves collecting the stones on a cotton thread and then knitting each stone with a single needle.

About the artist:
Lea Ben-Arye is fourth generation of printers from Safed Israel
Born 1957, Safed, Israel The city of the "Kabala" origin
Presently, living and working in the artist’ village of Ein-Hod. 
Member of the Israeli Design Craft Association. 
Selected by the Israel Export Institute, among the best 14 designers of Israel.

"Following my studies, I worked on several graphic projects, the most exciting was the design and supervision of large outdoor graphic murals totaling in all 3.5 sq. km. When I moved to Ein-Hod, I studied Pottery, Jewelry and silkscreen printing combined with hand painting. 
I have developed and refined this technique to meet my own particular needs. The result is a unique edition of prints which express a total personal concept."
